Hey all!
I am looking for a maternity model for a shoot THIS FALL. After the colors start to change, we are probably looking at the beginning of October, in Adams county, WI.
If you are not local, must be willing to travel.
Free images as compensation for about an hour of your time.
I’m providing the gown & styling for the session, but will do a set of your option as well!
Recommending between 28 - 34 weeks along.

Announcement
I photographed my first wedding in December, it was raining, almost 10 years ago. I second shot for a bigger name photographer on the east coast at the time, while I was in college. Had I taken that experience to heart, I wouldn't have spend the next years documenting love stories across the US and even getting to go to Canada for part of one...

I have always said "I just love LOVE."

Not a single love story I've witnessed over the years has been the same as another, and the few that we will have the absolute pleasure of documenting this year will be some for the books, I already know it.

This decision was made at the beginning of the year, I just have been very hesitant to share it, but as inquiries come in, and our website(which will be going away soon altogether) and what we show and offer changes, it needs to be said.

2022 will be our last year taking on weddings.

I was hesitant to say it because we do have 3 more weddings this year and I wanted it to be 100% clear that we WANT to be there with you! If you are an existing TRCC couple, we are SO excited for your weddings this year! PLEASE don't think that we don't want to! It's kind of like quitting while we are ahead.
We are making the decision not to book future weddings to focus on the studio, our other businesses and our family!

Each year being away for 20+, at the very minimum, weekends a year has been hard. It is compounded by the fact that Dan (some of you know him already, some of you will get to see him as a videographer for a couple weddings this year yet) is an over the road driver, it turns into him getting home as I'm headed out the door for the weekends he isn't helping me.

I haven't been shy on my personal social media more recently about the fact that we have been going through fertility treatments for... a while, too.

Looking back on all the people I've met, stories I've witnessed, love I've documented... made this a hard decision.

At the same time, looking forward to the future, the one we want to build, it also was a simple and easy one.

What does that mean for the future?

Well moving forward I will be focusing on mainly Maternity through 1st year, Senior Sessions and other portrait sessions.

I sincerely don't know how to say thank you to everyone who has trusted us to be there, to photograph life's important moments.

Hopefully as we move into documenting other phases of life, we can grow with you as well.

You know what you don't have to do?
Everything all the 'experts' are telling you to.

The amount of programs on 'how to stay booked' or 'how to get # of inquiries in 30 days' I've seen recently is absolutely wild.

You know what you should be doing?
Doing what you want to create a business that functions the way that you want and need for your life.

You don't have to be busy at all times.
You don't have to be shooting the newest styles, editing with the newest presets or even using the newest cameras to be successful, to be happy.

I know, I say stuff like this a lot. But honestly, I spend most of the first 10 years I was in business not understanding what I wasn't getting right. Why wasn't I happy?

That's why I like to be the little reminder- you're doing just fine.
