Serving Detroit & destination couples
Now booking 2026 weddings However, growing up I thought you went to college to get a degree in something stable and guaranteed to make you money. A year into the Nursing program at my college I realized it just wasn't for me. Something was miss

ing. I dropped out of college to pursue my passions. I tried acting for a while. I loved it, but I knew it would be unpractical. I always like photography, but everywhere I read said that it was a terrible profession to pursue so I shied away. Until recently I said screw it I am going to do what I love. For the past year I have been learning as much as I can, practicing as much as I can to make this something I can live off of. I have been working for a wedding photographer as an assistant for the past year. I have gained so much priceless knowledge from the experience. Even though I don't have much experience, I feel confident I can make your day special if you choose me.

Spent the evening exploring Traverse City with these two, and I honestly would’ve kept shooting if we didn’t eventually have to call it a night. šŸ˜‚

We explored downtown, stopped at Château Chantal where they grabbed a glass of wine and wandered through the vineyards, and finished on the beach at Old Mission Point Lighthouse. It was one of those sessions where every stop somehow topped the last.

One of my favorite parts of the night wasn’t even taking photos. We ended up running into the owner of ChĆ¢teau Chantal, and he started telling us how he met his wife and how he built the winery. It was one of those completely unexpected moments that made the whole experience even better.

And somehow I still made it back to my hotel just in time to catch the sunset on the beach. It was the perfect ending to such a fun day!

Anyway… swipe through because this session was such a good one. šŸ¤

I’m so glad Sara and Carson found me! From our very first conversation, I knew I wanted to be a part of this day.

Watching the two of them celebrate with their closest family and friends at CafƩ Cortina was such a good reminder of why I fell in love with photographing weddings in the first place. And how easy it can be, especially in the middle of a busy season, to forget that weddings are about the marriage and the people first and foremost.

Of course the flowers were beautiful, the details were perfect, and CafĆ© Cortina never disappoints, but my favorite part was getting to document all of the moments between the people they love. The hugs that lasted a little longer, the tears, the laughs, the conversations, and all of the moments that can’t be planned. Those are the photos that will mean even more as the years go by.

Sara and Carson, thank you for trusting me with such an important day. I’m so thankful our paths crossed when they did.

I had such an incredible time at Jackie and Zac’s engagement session! We started at Flyleaf where I was completely in my happy place surrounded by shelves and shelves of books! I can’t wait to go back just to visit. These two have such a love for books it only made sense to be surrounded by them. We ended the session at the War Memorial where the architecture of the building complimented Jackie’s gorgeous dress!

I’m pretty sure every Detroit engagement session should include good drinks, a summer night downtown, and a sunset picnic on Belle Isle.

Emily and Zach made this one feel so easy. We started downtown, grabbed a few photos at Oak and Reel then headed to Belle Isle where the sky absolutely showed off for us. By the end of the night we were sitting at Sunset Pointe watching the sun disappear while they shared a picnic and somehow made being photographed look completely effortless.

Not every engagement session needs a big plan. Sometimes all you need is a beautiful evening, your favorite person, and a little room to slow down together.

Your wedding stationery is more than just paper. It’s the first glimpse into your day, your style, and the story you’re telling. It’s the first impression your guests will have for months before the big day.

From your invitation suite to your menus and vow books, these details are chosen so intentionally. They deserve to be documented with the same care as every other part of your day.

When I photograph your details, I’m not just laying things out and snapping a photo. I’m styling them in a way that feels true to your day, using light, texture, and movement to bring everything together so it feels elevated, timeless, and you.

Because when the day is over, these are the pieces that help tell the full story from the very beginning.

Detroit wedding photographer capturing your story with a true to life, film inspired feel.
