Three days away and I just have to say I am so proud and so incredibly honored.

Honored that a group of talented designers and creatives chose to spend their Thursday morning with me. Proud of something I've been dreaming about for a long time.

I've been mentally crafting this workshop for years. Every "why does my photo look nothing like the real thing." Every "I styled this for an hour and it still looks wrong." Every sigh. Every ugh. Every WHY???

I gotcha.

In three days I finally get to teach it.

Meet our workshop venue. Cedarhurst - an 1895 Colonial Revival mansion in Portland's Dunthorpe, originally owned by the Ladd family and beautifully reimagined by the talented Kristin Lane .

Herringbone oak floors. Box-beam ceilings. Brick walkways. History in every detail.

The Interior Eye is a half day photography workshop that teaches you to handle all of it yourself. How to use your iPhone properly. How to style for the camera. The compositions that actually work. And yes — how to own your own copyright.

No photography background needed. Just bring yourself and whatever camera you already have.
