Tomorrow!!!! The book is arriving tomorrow!!!

I'll be mailing them off to the 250 plus Toy Thief orders within the week or so after singing all of the books... I've reached out to those who still need to pay, if you want a book and have yet to pay, please go to my website and pay there or call us at the gallery. I have people on the waiting list for a signed limited edition book and will pass those along to them after Nov 1st if there are any unpaid ones left.

I am soo excited! There are some very nice, unexpected additions to this version that are sure to please just about everyone!!!

First Snow, a favorite oldie from Trenton Falls, NY...

This was always a huge personal favorite and immensely meaningful being one of my favorite roads from where I used to live. We just added this image at the gallery and it is already amongst customers favorites.

Toy Thief fans and book orders... just a reminder, I now have a link on our website where you can easily pay for your reserved book. In case you missed this post on my page....It's coming!!! The Story of the Toy Thief has been reprinted with some lovely, actually, really super great changes that I am SO very proud of. The books are arriving on Oct. 25th and we'll start mailing them out the following week to those who have reserved a book.... but... before we send the books out, we need payment!!

I have set up a page on our website to pay for the book and other items if desired via PayPal and if you don't have a PayPal account you can still check out as a guest on PayPal and use a credit card.... or you can always call us at the gallery (518-637-1075) and we can process your order over the phone.

First Snow of the season in the Adirondacks... today, 10/14/24

One of the most beautiful days of the year, when the colors of fall meet the white flakes of winter. Those dancing flakes, that white blanket that mother nature just draped over everything... speak to my soul like no other season.

The Story of the Toy Thief... take 2!!!

Let's just say, I'm a perfectionist and want this book to be the absolute best it can be. I've chosen to reprint the book with some changes and therefore its availability has been pushed back to the end of October. Come mid-October I'll be contacting those who pre-ordered it with the option to pay via PayPal or by calling our gallery and paying over the phone. I'm so sorry for this delay but I'm not sorry in making sure it's the best it can be.

It is worth the wait... I'm immensely proud of this book!! :)

Update on "The Story of the Toy Thief"...

After two months of additional updates to both the story AND the images, the book is in its final form and is now in the hands of the printer in Canada!!!! We'll be receiving the finished books early September and will be mailing them out throughout that month. We are printing up only 500 books and have 300 already pre-ordered.

What a journey this has been. I feel like I've learned so much both in writing and in storytelling and am extremely happy with the results.

For those of you who have pre-ordered a book, I will be sending out an email within the next couple of weeks with options on how to pay along with more information.

Toy Thief fans, I thank you all for your inspiration and encouragement for me to follow through with this book I am extremely proud of. Thank you!

Here’s the new plan for “The Story of the Toy Thief”. Everything is on my website (thecuriousotter dot com).

The good news is the book will be printed at some point! All I need is for a total of 100 books to be RESERVED by people, that’s it. I’m not asking for any upfront money, only for you to reserve one now and pay for it when we have them printed and ready to ship out!

You can RESERVE copies by going to my Toy Thief website page and choosing the reserve option. Once I reach 100 reservations, I will submit the book to my printer, 6-8 weeks later we should have the books. I’m targeting by this October. I haven't officially announced it yet, I am now!, and we're already up to 8 reserved!!

I am only printing 250 books in this first edition!! All books will be SIGNED and NUMBETED by me starting with #11, with the numbers correlating to the order they are reserved. The first 10 are reserved by me.

The book will be 11”x10”, 96 pages, hardcover, $45 plus shipping and taxes if applicable.

Yeah, finally!!

The Toy Thief is not just an enchanting story... it is a very needed story and a great reminder that we share this earth with wild animals that are more than just that, they are sentient beings that have every right to live on this earth as we do.

Fingers crossed that we will reach our funding goal and that the dream of having "The Story of the Toy Thief" as a book will become a reality.
