May 5th is the National day of Awareness for Missing & Murdered Indigenous Woman & People (MMIWP)

She is not silent. She is a voice carried by generations. She is a prayer, a protest, and a promise.

The red handprint across her face is not just paint—it’s a symbol of the thousands of Indigenous women, girls, and two-spirit relatives who have been silenced by violence. It represents the connection between the physical world and the spiritual world. The blue represents the spirit world—a reminder that they are not forgotten. We see you.

**Indigenous women are murdered at a rate more than 10 times the national average.**
Over 4 out of 5 Indigenous women will experience violence in their lifetime, and more than half have endured sexual violence.

This is not a historical issue—it is ongoing. It is a crisis.

The Bureau of Indian Affairs' Missing and Murdered Unit (MMU) is working to bring justice to the families and communities affected, but we cannot let their stories go unheard.

As an Indigenous woman, mother, and artist in the Pacific Northwest, I carry this pain—and this fight—with me.

Celebrate love in all its beautiful forms—whether it's with your bestie, your kiddos, your sweetheart, or your whole family! Our studio is decked out with a playful and romantic backdrop featuring hand-painted XOXOs and glowing pops of color, perfect for capturing joyful, heartfelt moments!

Cost: $200+tax for a 15 minute session + full gallery of edited images

Premium: + $50 for an extra 15 minutes. Totaling 30minute session. Perfect if you have a child that needs a minute to warm up. Or just want the extra time to wiggle in some extra cute shots, after all, "full gallery"
