T.HayesPhotography Hi, My name is Tracie, and I am the owner/photographer of T.HayesPhotography. I love the one on one attention I can give to the client.

I began shooting in my early 20s using film and evolved into digital where I am still learning the trade. It is continuing to change and evolve and I love the art of photography so I try to keep up with out becoming stagnant with trends. I love portrait and fine art photography and I also do everything in-between but prefer to shoot portraits, bridals, seniors, fashion ect. I live in South Arkansas and do location photography where ever I am needed, preferring natural lighting to artificial but have the ability for both. I price slightly different because every client has different needs, therefor I try to stick with base fees and add on as needed using my website for viewing and purchasing as well as offering digital files for them so I can work on the go. I am portable in everyway and flexible on availability. I love to challenge myself to get that unique shot even if it means scaling a rock to shoot from a different angle. I love using the sun to give natural solar flairs and sun hazes, as well as natural shadowing with different elements. The less editing the better to keep it fresh but I do work with blemishes and skin tones and color manipulation for unique looks. I believe that, I will let the models look speak for itself and shouldn’t have to manipulate their size or features to be noticed. Please feel free to contact me if you are looking to build your portfolio or if you just need to update it, for further info on setting up a meet. all contact info is listed here on my page.

I've always had a saying when it comes to my clients. It isn't just a business; it's a ministry, and every client that I work with is intentional, God-sent. I had a session yesterday that we've been trying to orchestrate for weeks. I bring my children with me and pray that all goes according to plan. They see my children having the best time playing and urge me to take a photo of them. That showed me something very sweet about their hearts: that they were not self-serving. Because they shifted the focus from themselves to my child when the whole point was to focus on them. Humans are flawed, but they are so special. God's creation is capable of so much when we allow His guidance. Do we allow others to see Christ in us by our actions- not forced ones, but genuine kindness? Today I pray for that God likness to shine through us all.

Although I was a guest, I asked permission to snap a few photos at a recent wedding, and they graciously said yes. I wanted to get a few shots of their photographer to share with them. I want to always encourage other photographers, especially when they are starting out. If I could ever give advice to another photographer, it would be this: be kind. Speak with kindness to all as you are working because you can be in control and keep schedules without being mean to anyone. The stressfulness of a wedding is enough, and to have your Bride & Groom come back and say that your presence was calming and a joy to behold is worth more than you can comprehend at this point. Now, not everyone is going to agree with this, but that is okay; they have their opinion, and I have mine. All skills come with time and practice, including attitude.

I wanted to share some images from the parade/Owlfest, but I've had so many other irons in the fire that I've fallen behind. Courtesy of The Times News, Rachel Denton Freeze, but to no avail, I didn't get to load them. Maybe today! It takes so many hands to put an event like this together. Thank you to First NaturalState Bank, Producers Bank & Trust, Rachel Freeze with the Times News, Paws and Claws Humane Society, McGehee Fire & Ambulance, and so many more in the City of McGehee, AR. Thank you to all the vendors for your support and all who came out to have fun at the

This past weekend, I was at with my children. As I was taking , a friend said Let me take one with you and your babies!! I set the camera and handed it over; I was ecstatic to have this image. I am so grateful for the opportunity to do this, no matter how stressful the day was, as my children were all over the place, IYKYK. Keeping an eye on them is hard sometimes, but having a community of loving people is the best. Thank you, Tiffany McMahan, for this picture.

I hand-edit all my photos; I have time to do that, unlike a lot of busy photographers who rightfully use culling systems and bulk editing options. I spoke about a warm vintage edit I like to use a lot, and then about crisp, classic colors. One image would fall into bright and airy, with more natural tones, and the other with a bright, warm vintage tone. Comment below which edit is your favorite for family, children, and styled sessions.
