I started shooting photography over a year ago. My church taught a class involving the basic techniques of how to shoot with a DSLR. For this class I got my first and current camera, the Canon t5i. (Which is the perfect camera for when you're first starting with photography or videography.) At first I wasn't sure if I would be considered "creative" enough to shoot some of the amazing photography t
hat inspired me. Overtime I learned how my camera operated and developed techniques to better the photographs I took. You know that moment when you take the perfect picture and you're filled with the rush of accomplishment? That's what got me to seriously get into photography. At this point in time I was starting out my senior year in high school. I wanted to take photography and further my ability to take the "perfect" picture. My great teacher Mr.Joe Pine showed me how beautiful you can make the simplest of things. I started to know what I liked to shoot and developed my personality as a photographer. The school photographer Mr.B took me on as an assistant. Exchanging ideas on what worked and what didn't. One of the most creative people I have ever met! As I got better, I started shooting videos for the church I attended. My mentor Bryan Boan has been with me shooting videos and photographs since we both started over a year ago. As we would learn new things we would teach the other about the new thing we learned. Bryan is the one who introduced me to the Adobe Cloud. Which is the best thing anyone could ask for being in the media business. I owe a great deal to the people who have taught and inspired me in this quick year...
