First sneak peek of their stunning day on Saturday and I am seriously obsessed. 🤩 When Kristen reached out originally, she wanted someone to capture moody portraits and with a moody style because they booked p.alice for their reception and boy is it a photographer’s DREAM. Cannot wait to share more! Dropping the rolls of film off today and will be obsessively checking my email waiting for those scans to drop.

Last weekend without a wedding or session for a good while. Soaking up the baby snuggles this week but I am ready for all the gorgeous weddings coming up. Fall busy season kicks off next Saturday with a super fun intimate wedding in OKC that we’ve been planning for a hot minute and I am soooo excited. 🤩

Your makeup and hair have been done. You just got your dress on and the final touches - your shoes, your jewelry, your veil. This is where it starts feeling real. That this is your wedding day. Soon you will walk down the aisle to your husband. This is what "getting ready" photos really mean. The final touches, the sweet moments with your family and your wedding party and a quiet anticipation of your wedding day to unfold.

Today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. 🤍

What a beautiful reminder that our lives are ultimately meant for heaven—and that Mary, our Mother, shows us the way by her perfect “yes” to God.

As a Catholic wedding photographer, I’m continually reminded that marriage is also a vocation: a beautiful invitation to lead one another closer to Christ, through every season and every “yes.”

May Mary, Queen of Heaven pray for every couple beginning this sacred journey together. ✨

Would it even be August without this audio? 😉
How I’m feeling prepping for fall wedding season! This summer has gone by so quickly! Prek-4 starts for my oldest in just a couple weeks and it’s such a crazy feeling! It’s been such a sweet season staying home with him and his baby sister this summer but I’m so excited to see all he learns this year! I’m also so stoked for this year’s fall season. It’s going to be such a good one! 🍁 I’m ready!
Also cannot wait for K&A’s wedding this winter too! Love a Christmas season wedding! 🎄

The moments after the Mass. ⛪️
Abby & Tiger had the most beautiful Traditional Latin Mass wedding earlier this spring. During a TLM wedding, the vows happen at the very beginning so their first act as husband and wife was celebrating the Latin Mass. How incredible is that?

So much I have yet to share from this spring and early summer. Client weddings and galleries plus Pregnancy and family life took priority over posting. But these deserved a spot on the feed. 🥰🥰
