Celebrating 30-! Years today- September 13, 2023- photographing your life cycle events and portraits, from babies to bar /bat mitzvah to brides and beyond!

I began my photography career photographing a cover CD for the band Son Del Sur back on September 13, 1993.

Can’t believe it’s been 30 years..! Today! Whoop! Whoop! 🎉🎉🎉

SO many wonderful memories, thousands of images, from film to digital, many miles from the Twin Cities to New York, Seattle and Melbourne.

I feel lucky and grateful. Thank YOU for the opportunity to serve in such a meaningful way. I would not have been able to take all these photographs if you had not asked me to preserve YOUR precious memories 💖

Today- September 13th-I celebrated the completion of 29 years in business as Sue Lund Photography! Which means that tomorrow morning I begin my 30th year!!!

So many changes in this industry, not to mention the pandemic and I am still here! Today I have 2 High School Senior Portraits.

Last week I photographed 3 bar/bat mitzvah events and the Burnsville Fire Muster for the City of Burnsville. Just this past month, I was back at the Como Conservatory photographing a wedding. Click-Click!

I am grateful to be alive and thriving. For my energy and enthusiasm. For my passion for people and photography. For the work you have given me!

Most of all, I am thankful for all of you! My clients, clients who have become friends and friends who have become clients, awesome vendors to work with and family and friends who always support me.

Without any of you, I would not be still doing what I love! Preserving your memories and moments forever. With Love and Joy!

Here we are. March 31st. Looking back at the past 3 months.. there has been so much sorrow and so much joy.

For my business I have to say I am Soooo grateful for the boom in business! 10 photo shoots in 12 weeks! I’ve been busy! 😊

Working nearly every weekend - but lucky enough to get a Spring break vaca week in between. Feeling grateful for the work!

Here are 3 of my fav pics from the past 3 months. 2 beloved Cantors in the mix with their son’s bar mitzvah and a set of grandparents featured - within 3 diff. synagogues in the Twin Cities- Amount of love, joy and pride- immeasurable! Infinite! 💖

Made it to Minnetonka! 😊 Back at Adath Jeshurun Congregation Adath Jeshurun Congregation photographing a bar mitzvah. I love this sacred space and these cool windows adjacent to the Bema area.

Did you know … ?… the first word of the Torah is Beresh*t (see word on window on top right). And then… last word is Yisrael (word on bottom left). Encompassing the whole Megillah- from right to left (the way Hebrew is read) and everything in between! 😊 Such a great, clever design.

And to top it all off- When I arrived into this sacred space, I was greeted warmly by a friend who works here now. I did his HS senior pictures!!! (Many moons ago..) Talor Blustin. Love this guy and his wonderful family. What a treat! All the way around.
