Recapping some of our favorite lifestyle & travel shots of 2022.
We spent an incredible amount of time working with the Rockport Humane Society this year. Almost every Saturday we up early to help clean up the pens and washing puppies, playing with kittens and working to socialize them for adoption. Never thought our photos could help so much with getting them adopted. But you'd be surprised at the difference in response on Pet Finder when their profile photos show them in the best light. Hoping we can continue that trend now in Golden, CO area.
Our own dogs got many weekend trips and a couple exciting drives all the way up the western border of Texas on through Las Cruces and Santa Fe and ultimately ending up to Denver to see family. Little did we know we'd be making a move just a few months later.
Exploring Corpus Christi by drone, and the Port Aransas SandFest were memorable points in the year. The Aransas National Wildlife refuge just 30 minutes away from Rockport gave some incredible views of the coast. And showed the power of nature as storms brewed up right before our eyes. There really is nothing like watching clouds just explode upward into the sky and you know some incredible lighting is just around the corner. Exploring the neighboring cotton farms was a delight too. We popped off the road to check out the huge bails of cotton. We spent some time with some Texas Master Naturalist courses tagging along on thanks to the International Crane Foundation. Some of their ranch properties had so much to show us. Plants, Long horns, different birds and bugs, and armadillos you name it!
We joined the Rockport Yacht Club and it was great to volunteer for their youth regattas and some of the adult regattas which you may have seen in our previous posts. Always nerve-wracking bringing your camera out on the saltwater bays, but we loved the photos we captured.
Looking forward to the new year restarting the business in and all the Colorado exploration that will come.
Almost too many photos to share, but these were some of our favorites. Hit us up if you want to come hike and photograph some new places around Denver and into the Front Range.
