As the end of the year is not far from us and the hustle of the holidays is right in front of us, I can’t help but reflect on all that this year has brought — the stories you’ve shared, the laughter that’s filled your homes, the quiet in-between moments that often go unnoticed — they’ve all left a deep impression on me.

Each family is different, yet there’s this beautiful thread that connects us all: the desire to love well and to build a life that matters.

And so, as we head into this busy season, let this be a beautiful reminder — you’re doing your best, and that is enough.

Sometimes the most beautiful images come with a little adventure behind them.

Getting covered in beggar’s lice seeds and spending what felt like forever picking them off was absolutely worth it for this image. I’ll take that any day over last year’s session—when we watched a baby squirrel tumble from a tree, get startled into a pond, chased by ducks, somehow escaped, and limped off with some definite wounds…leaving their oldest, animal-loving daughter completely scarred for life 😳
