Hanging out with Cody and Carissa, the dynamic brother-sister pair, for a photoshoot last week was pure fun! With Cody, it's all about the quirky smiles, and let's not overlook that stoic smirk that kept all three of us giggling. Carissa, besides sparking some of her own innovative photo ideas, was also the secret sauce for coaxing a few of those genuine grins out of her brother.

I'm always on the lookout for unique and fun backgrounds for my photoshoots. Last night, I had the opportunity to work with soon to be one-year-old Caleb and some cows, and it was a blast!

The cows made for an unusual but delightful background, and it was so much fun to capture the little guys's joy as he got to see the tractor, the barns, and his new bovine friends. Here's a quick sneak peak of one of my favorites so far. More to come!

As a photographer, I often have the pleasure of capturing candid moments of my clients. Having four little kids of my own, also provides ample opportunity to do the same thing at home. This weekend, I was able to catch my youngest daughter making a face that'll make you smile.
