I don't think I have ever laughed as much at a photoshoot as I did with this family! They are hilarious, true to themselves, confident, have so much fun, and you can clearly see their love for each other runs deep. We had perfect weather and dreamy sunlight and I truly adore every photo we took!

My second session of the year and it was practically perfect in every way. I love that through my kids and their friends/extracurriculars I have been able to make friends too! Thankful for Ashley's friendship and thankful that she entrusted me to capture her sweet family. I couldn't ask for more!

You guys probably thought I disappeared... and I really did, for a year! Finding my footing with my business and life here in Georgia has looked a little differently than I anticipated, with a lot of my time being spent driving my kids to all of their extracurricular activities. I have embraced this season, knowing that every season in parenthood is fleeting. So, photography has taken a back burner. When my friend Natalie reached out to me about taking their family photos, I was super excited to get my camera out and do their session for them. We had sunshine, beautiful weather, happy kids... the whole session was just perfection. I don't think I realized how much I missed it until this day. So, I'll be slowly integrating this back in to my life- I've already done another session and scheduled two more! Hopefully you'll be seeing a lot more of me! And hopefully your algorithms will find me after all this time ;)

As Christmas quickly approaches, I can't help but feel so grateful for love- the love that I get to experience and view through my lens of each and every family that I get the honor to photograph. Christmas is about love coming down for us and it's no wonder that love is a beautiful thing!

Less than one week until Christmas! My kiddos have a minimum day today at school and then we are off for our break and we cannot wait! I have all the presents purchased but zero of the presents wrapped. Have any of you finished purchasing AND wrapping all your gifts? Are there any of you out there who haven't even started yet?Also I had to share this photo because I was just thinking of my sweet CA families this morning. Miss y'all!

When we first announced we were moving to Georgia, a friend of mine who lives in Illinois reached out to let me know that she had another friend who just moved to the same area from Wyoming. She told me this friend also had a ton of kids and ended up connecting us on instagram. Ashley and I hit it off immediately & when we finally met in person we sat and talked for HOURS as if we had always been friends. I’m so grateful that the Lord knew our paths needed to cross & used our girl Steph to make it happen.

After 5000 reschedules due to weather or sports (not exaggerating, of course) I was finally able to take Ashley‘s family pics! It was SUCH a blast and I just adore her beautiful family. Edwin & Ashley have the biggest hearts and so much love to share. Enjoy a little peek from their session last weekend.

I had a magical drizzly session last weekend with my very first Georgia family! It was so special for me to do this sweet family and I am obsessed with every single photo from their shoot. It's been weird not having done dozens and dozens of family sessions by this time of the year, but I am so grateful for the chance to start new traditions with new families in a beautiful new location.

I'm baaaack!!

After almost 3 months of not shooting because of our move from California to Georgia and getting settled, I did my first GA photoshoot yesterday!

And this was not just any photoshoot... If you've followed me for any amount of time you probably recognize this family, because they are one of my FAVES from CA! They are here in Georgia visiting family... family that happens to live 10 minutes from me! What are the chances?? I definitely cried when I saw them and hugged Jes, seeing familiar faces in a place where you know nobody was good for my heart!

I couldn't pick just one photo for their sneak peek, so you're getting five! I'm so so grateful to have had a chance to capture this sweet fam in my new home, and I am now SUPER excited to build by business up here. I've been so busy I forgot how much I loved this. My feed will look very different now going from the browns of the desert to the greens of the south!
