I shot Jenna + Justin’s beautiful wedding 5 years ago. Shortly after, they moved to the west coast and started a family of their own and have a gorgeous baby boy. They were recently in town and I was so blessed to be able to capture their precious family! I will never take for granted the fact that I am able to tell the story of a family through photos. ❤️

Every year this day is difficult, but dang…this one crushes my heart especially hard. Takes the air right from my lungs hard.

Today you would be 16.

You should be excited to go out with your dad to test for your driver’s license….getting cheered on by your little brother and getting driving tips from your big sister. You should be here to send off your sister to college and hug your momma extra hard because I’m sending my baby girl away. You should be planning and scheming with your brother what it’s going to be like now that the big sister is away. You should be telling your little brother highschool isn’t so bad and not to worry, because you will have his back if he needs anything.
Oh, how we miss you. We miss all of the moments we weren’t able to experience with you. We dream of what it would be like walking beside you in life.
You are so loved, always missed and NEVER forgotten.

Mandy + Chase

✨One of my favorite moments of this wedding day was their first look. I always try to play a special song on my phone (without them knowing) when the bride is walking up to her groom. As soon as Chase heard their song, his eyes welled up and when he turned around to see his beautiful bride, he was overcome with emotion (always a good thing! ).
