It’s always a beautiful and FUN time with the Sankey family in front of my camera 🩷 We chose Hershey Gardens as the backdrop to this year’s family portraits and goodness, we couldn’t have had a more perfect late summer evening! We laughed and played and smelled *lots* of roses - of course capturing so many sweet moments in the midst of it all.

The kids are back to school and summer is nearly over, which means the busyness of fall is right around the corner! As much as I hate to admit it, I tend to thrive on chaos and a jam-packed calendar 😅 Here’s to the next few months spent capturing lots of beautiful fall sessions, shuffling kids to sports practices and games, and consuming a *lot* of pumpkin spice coffee to get me through it all 🍂

A maternity session in the gardens will always be a good idea 🌸 I had the honor of capturing Caitlin and Collin’s pregnancy announcement (and gender reveal!) early this past spring and then we all blinked and it was time for her maternity session…so overjoyed for these two and their sweet baby girl who will be here so very soon!

These two have quite possibly *the* sweetest, most serendipitous love story I have ever heard (and trust me, after being a wedding photographer for over a decade, I’ve heard a lot!) Truly the kindest souls whose paths crossed in the cutest of meet-cute ways and had my hopeless-romantic heart melting 🥹

I’ve been dreaming up this session for quite literally years, and WHEW. What a *dream* of a maternity session this was, surrounded by lavender fields nestled in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania ✨ How lucky are we to have such beauty in our own backyards!
