We proudly share the long-awaited Lexie/Gage babies!!!There are 13; 7 males/6 females! Soo perfect!! Each one is a different color! Several are brindling out. Chocolate mantle BP, brindle point, silver(Lilac) mantle BP, blue mantle, blue brindle mantle, most are brindle points and tanpoints, all carry or are chocolate, blue and pie.
Lexie is a special chocolate pie brindle who carries the gene for blue and point. And never a more precious girl! Daddy is our massive, strongly structured Gage—our dream dog: goofy, lovable, a total couch potato, and completely devoted to his family. He is blue fawn, carries chocolate, tanpoint pairing is one we have looked forward to for a long time! This is posted to just show our new beautiful babies. 5-6 already have the most wonderful families. If you would like to learn about these colors, please PM me. Anticipation…..
This week is meant to be “ go home time” at 8 weeks, goody bags packed and paperwork completed, vet check passed with flying “bravos” of another magnificent bunch! ( vet actually has an ARR Dane) It is such a time of mixed feelings. Great happiness for the new families, sadness because so many countless hours and days have been invested into each special munchkin and goodbyes are hard even after 20 years of sending off dane puppies. So much time in praises them, coaxing them to take little fearful steps in life. In my heart I feel so much love, attention, and learning has occurred to get to this point … babies are saying “I’m confident and ready for my family”……..and then the dreaded words appear in a message….”We are so sorry but”…🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶😢 All I can say is the RIGHT AND PERFECT family is still out there. We try so hard for our families…. Send weekly multiple great photos and videos, potty and doggy door started, leash training with farm walks to see many animals. Socialized with small breed dogs and children, car rides, bath and nail trims. Countless hours spent. Sometimes I feel like .. WHY????? I guess because they are our babies, our loves. There is just nothing like a dane! And no matter what, we will always keep going that extra mile. When that message comes in, at first I want to scream NOOOO. But then I step myself back and remember it is not in my hands… it was really not meant to be. The other family who is destined for the puppy is waiting for the right heart, spark someone to say… “That is my soulmate Great Dane”. And honestly it happens every time!! But I still feel sorry for the not meant to be….but it is all ok. And we begin again with much anticipation and wonder. POSTING TO SHARE FEELINGS and show 💗💙👀🛋️!!! PM
