One of the things I love most is when families choose to include their dogs in their portraits, and sweet Miley absolutely stole the show. From happy smiles to wagging tails, there's something so special about documenting the family exactly as they are in this season of life.

The joy, connection, and love that shine through when a beloved family dog is included is truly unmatched. They aren't just pets—they're family, and they deserve a place in these memories too.

Lately more and more families have been bringing their dogs along to portrait sessions and honestly… it makes me SO happy 🐾🤍

Courtney & Reese’s wedding day felt like the perfect Michigan day — barefoot on the beach, surrounded by their closest friends and family, with the kind of glowy sky that makes you wish time would slow down just a little longer. 🤍

I don’t typically photograph weddings, but I absolutely cannot pass on capturing special moments for current clients who have trusted me to document their story through the years. Watching families grow and being invited into milestones like this is something I never take lightly.

Because I don’t offer standard wedding packages, I gave Courtney an hourly option for coverage. But once she sent over the itinerary, I knew there was no way I could miss the ceremony and the emotion of saying “I do” on the beach. So as a surprise, I arrived early — and I’m so incredibly glad I did.

These moments are beyond special, and I feel so honored to be a small part of Courtney, Reese, and Hayes’ story.
