A testimonial from the Norde’s

Tiffany and David reached out for their 15th anniversary wanting a video that captured their original wedding day dance and showed the world what they do as dancers. It was an amazing shoot! A three day turn around, three deliverables, and a person team for this shoot.

Even though it was a little last minute it came out perfect. We did scramble our brains a little bit trying to think of locations and how to light said location but it still came out fire. It was an amazing opportunity to do this for them especially when we asked the why and what they wanted to feel when they watched the video.

As said before we made a decision a while back that we wanted our testimonials would be authentic. No cuts if we didn’t have to for time sake. Just our clients talking about their experience working with us. That way you get to hear the honest thought process and real experience straight from the people we work with.

Bees don’t explain why honey is better than what the fly is making. They just make honey.

McDonald’s doesn’t hold a press conference every time they raise the price of a Big Mac. Businesses just operate at their standard - and people pay it.

But a photographer or videographer quotes $2,500 and suddenly they owe someone a dissertation.

Nothing wrong with explaining your pricing. I do it myself sometimes. It can actually build trust when it’s done from a place of confidence. But there’s a difference between educating a client and auditioning for the job you already deserve.

A lot of photographers and videographers panic when a client asks “why does this cost so much?” They sometimes act like the question itself is an attack. But explaining your value isn’t desperation. It’s confidence. It’s proof that you actually understand what you’re delivering and why it matters.

Know what you’re producing. Build at that level.
And let the work speak before you ever have to.

Wow. Just wow. Ahmad, a good friend of mine and CEO of Gentleman’s Grooming, gave Paradiso and I a review we didn’t even plan for, and we did the exact thing you’d expect… we kept every single second of it.

He literally said “Hey start the camera recording for me real quick.” No cuts. Just him, talking.

That’s on purpose. We made a decision that our reviews would never be shaped or polished to sound a certain way. Testimony’s and reviews should be real not only for marketing purposes but because it gives us a chance to actually hear what we do well and what we can do better.

When someone takes time out of their day to speak genuinely about the experience they had with us that means more than any highlight reel we could put together.

Thank you, Ahmad. We don’t take that lightly.

I don’t post every day. I create every day.

My clients do the posting. I do the creating. They get the content, the consistency, the brand deals, and I get paid to do what I love without worrying about if the algorithm is gonna push me or if I’m getting enough likes.

That’s the play nobody talks about.

How many cameras do you count?

Been meaning to post today but honestly, it’s been shoot after shoot. Anywhere from 3 to 6 hours a day, back to back… and that’s not including editing time. Today Grand Rapids is keeping me n the team busy and we’re loving every second of it.
