Hair & Make-up Artist for Bo***ir Photography Sessions
Are you a talented and licensed hair & makeup artist with a passion for creating stunning looks? Do you have experience working with the photography industry? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
We are seeking a skilled and experienced hair & makeup artist to join our team for bo***ir photography sessions. As a hair & makeup artist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients' natural beauty and creating captivating looks that empower and boost their confidence.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional hair and makeup services to clients during bo***ir photography sessions
- Collaborate with the photographer and clients to understand their vision and desired looks
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair and makeup artistry
- Create unique and personalized looks that enhance clients' features and align with their preferences
- Ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for clients throughout the session
- Maintain a clean and organized working space for a professional and private environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns or questions
Requirements:
- Must be a licensed cosmetologist
- Proven experience in providing hair and makeup services
- Proficient in a wide range of hair and makeup techniques, including contouring & hairstyling. Airbrush makeup is a bonus!
- Strong attention to detail and ability to create flawless looks that photograph beautifully
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure client satisfaction
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Must have your own equipment, including a comprehensive/diverse makeup kit and hairstyling tools
- A portfolio showcasing your previous work is highly desirable

A little about us:
- We’re a luxury bo***ir photography studio based here in Lansing, MI
- We book our clients up to 12 months in advance, so you’ll have a full schedule from the get go
- We photograph one client per day to ensure a full experience. We start hair & makeup at 10:00am & 11:30am
- You’ll be provided with images to use for your portfolio when clients allow us to share their images
