Yesterday was beautiful.🥹🤌🏾

I’ve been friends with Tesha since we were teenagers, so this one felt personal in the best way. She’s always been like a sister to me, and being able to stand behind the camera and capture one of the biggest days of her life was an honor.🏆

And Jermaine has always been such a genuine soul. From the beginning, we connected naturally and have been locked in ever since.🤞🏾

To see two good people find each other, choose each other, and step into this next chapter surrounded by love was special.🫶🏾💒

🎓SENIORS — your session doesn’t have to stay inside four walls. 📸🌅

When Amariana hit me up about her senior pictures, she already knew she wanted to do something different from the traditional studio session.

She wanted to get outside.

She wanted a location that actually meant something to her.

So we packed up the gear and took this senior session all the way to Tunnel Park in Holland, Michigan. 🏖️🚘

And fam… we WORKED for these. 😂😮‍💨

Sand. Dunes. Beach grass. A million steps up to the overlook. Back down to the water. Outfit changes. External lighting. Sunset chasing. And eventually getting right into Lake Michigan to finish the session.✨

🤰🏽Wifey came along with me and was an absolute TROOPER — helping with lighting and hauling gear up and down those steps while we chased every bit of that golden-hour light. 😂💪🏾

But THIS is why I love on-location senior sessions.😌

Cameron came into his senior session ready to make it his own 🥋📸 🥷 💥 ♏️

Instead of going with a typical senior look, we leaned into something he’s passionate about: martial arts. The red belt, the weapons, the open field, and that larger-than-life tree gave the whole session a cinematic feel.

Senior photos should show more than what you look like. They should represent your personality, your discipline, and the things that helped shape you along the way.

The 2026 Jackson Annual Juneteenth Celebration was a beautiful reminder that freedom, culture, community, and resilience are meant to be celebrated together.

From the music and performances to the laughter, conversations, and moments shared between generations, this year’s festival was filled with energy and pride. It was an honor to document a day that continues to bring people together while honoring the history that made it possible.
