th the flow, finding what makes you happy, not taking life too seriously, and loving with your whole heart. On top of being wife and mom, you can also find me photographing awesome high school & college seniors, families & extended families, babies, branding sessions for professionals, and the occasional wedding or event! My clients become family, and I truly love growing with them over the years! I travel all over "the Region" so you'll find me mainly in the La Porte, Indiana area (my hometown!) -- covering all of Northwest Indiana, up into Southwest Michigan, and even over in Chicago and the suburbs.

This windy day has me reminiscing of this Extended Family photo session at
New Buffalo beach last summer 🌬️🌊

We weren't sure if we'd get rained on but we decided to roll with it and we got the most beautiful, windy morning (with no rain, woohoo!)! The hair and dresses danced with the gusts, and while it was a little tricky to make sure everything was in the right place, we made it work and I absolutely love how these turned out!

This sweet proposal turned into an extended family session at New Buffalo Beach and I LOVE THAT for them 🥰

We planned the whole thing out and she was so thrilled: the proposal at my favorite spot, walking around the beach for more photos to celebrate after, and then back up the hill to meet Ally's fam and get some extended family photos with them 🤍

The kind of family photos I want when thinking about my own family photography session:

- playful
- relaxed
- FUN
- real smiles
- lots of love
- JOY
- memories
- togetherness..a few good posed photos, but really I want more connection and us being US. I want to remember the way my kids smile with a scrunched up nose and missing a few teeth. I want to remember twirls in the sand and skipping stones. I want them to look back at the photos when they're grown and remember me, young and playful, happy, swinging them down the shore of the beach 🤍
..and that's my goal when capturing your family too! If you're looking for a photographer while you're vacationing in beautiful Michigan City, New Buffalo, Union Pier, Long Beach, etc this summer, I'd love to hear from you!

A sunny beachy baby moon maternity and family sesh for you on this sunny Sunday morning ☀️

This sweet fam took 30 mins out of their relaxing Michigan City beach vacation to meet me at Washington Park for some photos to remember this time as a family of 3 before they met baby brother and became a family of 4!

This location was super special because it's the same spot they engaged at a few years before 🥰

I first photographed Kelly & Matt back in 2021 at this same exact beach in Lakeside, Michigan for their couples session, just the two of them. Since then, we've had 6 more sessions and have added 2 cuties to the mix! I love returning to this beach with them, and I always love that mom and dad are down to play so we get such a good mix of posed and playful photos! 🥰

Thankful for all of my clients but especially for the ones that come back year after year for more fun with me! I love getting to be along for your ride in this thing we all call life!

The snow is almost fully melted and I can hear birds chirping! We're inching our way closer to spring and summer days at the beach and I CANNOT WAIT to get my toes in the sand with all of you!

📸☀️ This sweet fam was all together for their annual beach getaway at their family home - I don't get a lot of clients that aren't vacationers staying at an Airbnb, so it was super special and sentimental to hear the history behind the home, photograph them with the home in the background, and capture them all together 🥰 Such a beautiful, sunny morning at the beach and I loved every second of it!

I talked this sweet fam into doing a sunrise photo session at the beach last summer and let me tell ya, we had the most beautiful sunrise! SO worth the early wake up call!

It was Mom & Dad with their 8 grown children, 2 spouses, and 2 grandchildren. I love photographing large extended families!

We started off by meeting at their Michigan City Airbnb that was just steps to the beach. We started walking through the beach grass down to the lake and found a family of deer. It was the most peaceful and beautiful sight to see and such a great way to start the morning!

‼️ I've been holding off on announcing that spring/summer is open for booking because my oldest is on a travel baseball team this year and I was waiting on a schedule - BUT we just got the schedule so I'm ready for you all! With our schedule being hectic with 2 littles in activities, availability is limited. Please reach out as soon as you have your vacation dates and are ready to look at availability!

Devin contacted me wanting to capture his proposal to Mary while they were at Dudeck's Pine Country getting their Christmas Tree. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful, snowy, Christmasey day at the tree farm for this special moment 🥰

I loved that their families were there to celebrate with them after, their pup was included in the day, and that she said YES!

Thanks for having us Dudeck's!!

This time of year is all about capturing the love.
