Shoutout to this awesome Connecticut photo and wedding community. To the talented women who showed me the ropes of the industry in 2015, who worked with me at coffee shop every other Friday as we tried to figure out contracts, billing, and accounting, and who are always up for a portrait swap to help each other show our faces on here. You are the ones who graciously welcomed me into your fold and were there for panicked texts about unprecedented client questions or lens malfunctions. You embraced me more warmly than any group I’ve been in in my life!! Love you all so much and am so happy we’re friends!!

(1/4) Jeremy and I met almost a decade ago in Philadelphia. When we went on our first date we both knew we were looking for something serious but had little expectation how, or from who rather, that would manifest. We ended up attracted to each other for this reason first and foremost. We are serious, intentional life live-ers. Then came the surprising part—how attracted we were to each other for the passion, strong personality traits, and skill sets we had—in completely opposite areas. He leads with logic, I lead with emotion. We never knew we wanted to learn other ways of being, but here we are. Inspired by each other constantly and better for it. I’m going to share our 10 year journey on here in a series of posts. Figured it was about time!

Happy and peaceful holiday to all! This December has brought rest, passion projects, and good friends to the team. During the wedding off-season, Molly has been shooting female entrepreneurs in their element and bonding with friends, family, and her husband in Savannah, where she's from. Emily took her new baby and husband to Vermont and introduced her daughter to the special place she grew up. She spent the wedding off-season doing fine art family photography in CT and NY and projects with friends, like this wreath-making workshop thrown by Jack & Grace Events, Hudson Botanica Floral & Event Design, and Coppola Creative! If we've learned anything this year it's that some of life's best outcomes are ones that are completely unplanned. We hope you all flow into the new year with curiosity, levity, and an open heart! Thanks for another great year and for your continued love. We hope to pay it forward in 2019.
