I do not know this gentlemanā€™s name, nor his story (Iā€™m gonna make it a point to sit and talk to him for a bit). But what I do know is that heā€™s been at every single game this season, and Iā€™m pretty confident heā€™s done the same in previous ones. Be like this gentleman and support the ! Congratulations to all the teachers that got recognized today, we need every single one of you to influence our childrenā€™s minds.

Here's what I've learned over these past few years of photographing action sports.

-Does equipment matter?
Yes and no. Ultimately, cameras and lenses are just tools. Tapping into your creativity, vision, and intention are the best tools in your arsenal. Certainly a f/2.8 lens will give you a crisper look, yet if an image tells a story, equipment becomes secondary. It's easy to get caught up with gear with all these great photographers shooting all kinds of crazy stuff. Learning with what you have and mastering it is far more important.....at first. Upgrade your skills before you upgrade your equipment.

Just grab your camera and just shoot! That's the hardest part in my humble opinion. šŸ˜Š
