We made it through Milton just fine. Power is out and there are branches down everywhere, but there generator is purring along and we are using the time to deep clean and organize the house. The cats and bees weren't too happy about it, but they survived.

So far, it looks like we will be fairly lucky with Hurricane Milton. Short of HUGE wobble north, Sarasota (about 50 miles to our South) will take the brunt of it. We should be on the North (weaker) side of it. Still a huge storm, we already lost power and have the generator running until things get too bad, then we go dark and ride it out. Lots of rain and the winds will be up there 70-80 mph here but we are ready. Will report back before lights out. :-)
