Vernon Photography, Inc. is looking for people (moms, college students, retired teachers) to join our 2024-25 school portrait team as a Part-TIME, Mornings only, school portrait posing & expression assistant.
You would be:
assisting in setting up our portrait equipment each day, assisting with the posing / setup and flow of the PK through 12th grade students we photograph each day. To be a great fit for this position, Assistants should have a fun and outgoing attitude and loves kids, enjoy organization, and assisting with logistics (getting the teacher/students to flow efficiently). No photography experience needed although a love for photography is a plus, training is provided.
Hours:
Avg. 12-20 hours per week seasonally (if a full time slot becomes available this could be a future 24-36 hours a week spot). Typical Hours are approx. 7:30am-1pm (expect early morning start times and end times vary by school). Primarily school hours (this is a plus if you are a mom looking for a job that is mostly during school hours). *-must be able to depart from your home as early as
7:30-8:00am to join the crew at a school. In some cases, if we are travelling outside of Pinellas County, you may meet at our office to travel with us.
Job Type: Seasonal & Part Time
follows the school calendar - (August-Mid November; Mid January-April)
Location:
Our schools are in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Manatee & Sarasota counties.
Pay:
Hourly, $15-$19 per hour based on experience & performance
Training: Late July 2024
Starting: Aug 2024 (accepting applications now)

Punctual and reliable
Exceptional communication skills
Must pass a background check/fingerprinting through Pinellas County School Board
Must have transportation in order to meet us at local schools or at our office to travel with us to farther schools
