My first solo backpacking trip of the year didn’t exactly go as planned...
I headed into Mueller State Park looking for a peaceful night in the backcountry, but Mother Nature had other ideas. Sometimes the hardest part of an adventure is knowing when it’s time to turn around.
One thing I’ve learned over the years is that the mountains will always be there. Making the safe decision means you’ll get the chance to come back.
