New Page, new chapter…

A little more than a month ago, I was offered a Lead Editor and Cinematographer position at a commercial studio in Las Vegas. Needless to say, the questions, the hesitation, the uncertainty… everything going on personally all led me to stall, overthink, and frankly, avoid anything uncomfortable. But to live in fear of the unknown, is the true failure. Huge thank you to all the family and friends who sent their love and well wishes.

Huge milestone in my career m, and I couldn’t have gotten through these last 6 months without the help of friends and family who believed in me. You know who you are. PROUD IN THE PANDEMIC - A DOCUMENTARY BY THE COMMUNITY, FOR THE COMMUNITY.

DTLA PROUD started from a simple idea to become the largest LGBTQ+ celebration Downtown Los Angeles history. The COVID-19 pandemic challenged us to sit back and re-examine the true meaning of Pride without physical events. Coupled with the historic uprising against racial injustice and discrimination, this film aims to capture a moment in time when despite these common struggles, the breadth and diversity of the LGBTQ+ community is becoming more connected and united than ever before. This will be a story of evolution, growth and what it means to stay proud as we approach the dawn of a new era in our collective q***r experience.
