Happy Mother’s Day weekend ❤️

I think about all the phases of motherhood that there are. The sleepless nights, the toddler tantrums, the teenage drama, the send off to college, etc. Each one of them include their own challenges but they also include their own glimmers of joy. The year of firsts, being their whole world, the independence that comes in those teenage years, and then watching them step into adulthood.

Each stage is worth remembering.

Truly she gets all of the credit. But I still have to share them. She really stepped in for me when I couldn’t walk on a flat surface much less the sand dunes 🤪 thank you thank you thank you friend 😘 theres even some of her film images in this post that are 👌🏼

And in case you missed it because I’ve only shared it in my stories, I will be having surgery to repair my ACL and will be out of commission for a couple of months. But I have lots of photographer recommendations I can send your way. While I love having an associate shoot for me, there’s just way too many other photographers that could give you such an incredible experience that I’d love to send you to. 🫶🏼

Motherhood is the strangest paradox—somehow the most exhausting, overwhelming, all-consuming role and still the one that fills your heart in ways nothing else ever could. These motherhood minis ALWAYS fill my cup. It’s never been hard for me to capture the bond between mother and child(ren). Which is why I chose to have 3 days of minis in April (not sure I’ll do that again 😅) but I loved every single one of them.
