Headed out around 8pm last night to try to get a glimpse of the northern lights. I arrived at the shooting location with roughly thirty minutes of sun light still. Once I got all my gear setup and was ready to shoot, I waited. ..And waited. ..And waited.
I finally began taking test shots with the results being less than promising. I thought the night may have been a bust and I would end up going home empty handed, but then..
I started seeing little glimmers of color. It took me a second to realize it was happening as the lights were actually pretty faint but men, once the lights really started to hit, it was incredible! What a cool thing to experience! I can't wait to shoot more sometime in the future.

One more set to end the night. The vivid colors of these trees is just so nice to look at. I wish Vegas had more trees like this.
