The women of the 40 Over 40 Project reminded me over and over again that there is no age limit on feeling beautiful, confident, sexy, powerful, or seen.

This amazing client originally came to the studio for one reason, moral support for her friend’s 40 Over 40 session. 😂

Then she watched the whole experience and basically said, “Okay, I need to do this too.”

And I’m SO glad she did!

But what makes Heather’s story even better is how much she connected with the mission behind this project. She has been incredibly generous, donating raffle prizes AND helping with food for the Gallery Show.

This is exactly what I love about what this project has become. It started with portraits, but it has turned into this amazing group of women showing up for each other and supporting something bigger.

Thank you, Heather, for jumping in with both feet. ❤️

Yesterday made everything feel VERY real. 😬❤️

I finally got to walk through the venue for the 40 Over 40 Gallery Show and actually start imagining where everything is going to go. The portraits, the music, the photo areas, all of it.

After working on this project for so many months, it’s kind of crazy to think we’re almost here!

I’m excited, I’m nervous, I have a million things left to do 😂 but I seriously cannot wait to see everyone together and finally share what we’ve been creating.

September 26th is coming FAST!

Every woman who participated in the 40 Over 40 Project brought her own story, personality, beauty, and energy in front of my camera.
