Hi y’all! I’m not the best at posting on this page—I tend to share more on my personal page Tasha Childs Whyte, which I know can get a little confusing 😅
I’m going to try to be better about showing up here, so here’s a little about me:
I’m Tasha, the face behind Blair Whyte Project (a play on my middle and last name). I’m a homeschool mom of three—two boys and a girl—and my husband is my best friend and biggest supporter.
I grew up taking photos with my mom and loved developing black-and-white film in her mini darkroom at our childhood home. I didn’t fully realize how much I loved photography back then, so after high school I pursued a career as an Aesthetician.
I always had a camera in hand, but it wasn’t until after my first child was born in 2013 that I truly discovered photography as my creative outlet. I explored newborn photography and a few other paths, but the western lifestyle has always pulled at my heart.
I started by photographing my own horses, goats, chickens, and kids, which grew into a deeper desire to tell stories of the western way of life. From team roping practices to junior rodeos, I found myself chasing moments wherever I could find cowboys and cowgirls.
The people I’ve met and the places this journey has taken me have been such a blessing. I’m beyond grateful for every opportunity to capture the spirit and beauty of the West—and of you.
Thank you so much for all the support ❤️
