There’s something about a week like WPPI - being surrounded by people who love photography as much as you do, the conversations, the ideas, the laughter, the late nights and early mornings - that makes it hard to come back to real life.

But that’s also the magic of it. The connections, the inspiration, and the memories don’t stay in Vegas. They come home with all of us. ❤️

Photographs give us a way to hold onto moments.

Looking back at this week through these photos, what stands out most isn’t just the classes, the expo, or the parties. It’s the people. The support. The encouragement. The way this community shows up for each other with generosity, warmth, and a shared love for the craft.

WPPI has always been about that. Photographers coming together to grow, to share what they know, and to remind each other why we fell in love with photography in the first place.

And as we look ahead to the future of our industry, one thing feels certain. AI may be able to generate images, but it can’t capture a moment.

That part will always belong to the photographer. 💛

What a morning.✨

A packed room, a shared moment, and a morning none of us will forget. 📷

More than 2,000 photographers filled the room at WPPI to spend time with Annie Leibovitz and you could feel the energy the moment she walked on stage.

As she shared the images from her book and the stories behind the people in them, the room was completely captivated. These weren’t just photographs. They were moments, relationships, and memories brought to life through her lens.

For all of us sitting there together, it was a reminder of why we do what we do the power of photography to connect us to people, to history, and to each other.

We are deeply honored that Annie joined us as our keynote at WPPI.
