What a fu***ng night at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas.

Cultus Black. Ov Sulfur. Upon A Burning Body. DevilDriver.

I walked in barely knowing Cultus Black and walked out a fan. Ov Sulfur brought the hometown heaviness, UABB turned Nevada into Texas for a minute, and then DevilDriver reminded me exactly why I’ve loved that groove for all these years.
Somewhere in the middle, I met Dino fu***ng Cazares, and Dez noticed my DevilDriver shirt, came over, shook my hand, and thanked me for supporting the band.

Photographer or not, I was still a fu***ng fan last night.

I FU***NG SAW DEVILDRIVER. 🤘

Every time I see ENTHEOS, I leave thinking the same thing: this band is absolutely fu***ng nasty. Under purple and blue lighting with almost nothing behind them but their name, Chaney Crabb and the band let the brutality speak for itself. Even after seven weeks on the road, they played like they still had something to prove and stayed after the show to meet every fan waiting for them.

closed out seven weeks on the road with a full-force performance at the House of Blues Las Vegas. From the opening moments of “Duél” through “Pisces” and the final hit of “Sit Stay Roll Over,” Tatiana Shmayluk and company controlled the room with crushing precision, shifting rhythms and a production built to make every moment feel massive.

The neon is burning, the monsters are awake, and is nowhere near ready for the closing credits.
Decades feels like the soundtrack to a forgotten late-’80s horror movie full of vampires, werewolves, industrial grooves, huge breakdowns, and enough neon to light up the Sunset Strip. They came for the blood, stayed for the neon, and left nothing alive but the soundtrack.

My full review is now live at KNAC. Go read it, share it, and then turn the album up loud.
