Posting pictures as a photographer is just as intimidating as being photographed.
Recently, I was challenged to do a self-portrait. That part was no problem for me. In fact, I did it two days in a row. But posting, that's a different story. Having your work out there thinking people are going to judge you or your work 🫠. The wildest part is I LOVE a lot of what I create. I look through my pictures all the time and think man the world should see some of this. But still, I safeguarded it, keeping it close to my heart and sharing only with people close to me.
BUT! Tonight, I'm going to step out there a little.
This picture is so much of me. Sitting in my van with rain boots on enjoying the little bit of rain Vegas does get. We get like 3 hours of rain all YEAR 🤣, and every time it does, I run to put on my boots and sit in my van with the doors open. It reminds me of all the adventures I've had with her since I got her in 2015. I remember when I used to hate the rain, but my van, affectionately known as Little B, is the reason I quite enjoy it now. Ever since I've had her, I've spent raining days relaxing listening to the rain hit the metal roof with the windows opened for a slight breeze to come through 😍. No matter how much moving around I've done, I've always felt like I've had a home so long as I have her.
So I guess this self-portrait really is about Little B and I.
