Basic photo editing tips:

Crop your image for the platform you’re posting one, and so the subject is on a 3rd, and put the horizon or skyline on the other 3rd.

Brighten your subject and darken the background to make the subject pop. This image is an intense representation of that, and I don’t typically darken the sky this much, but I wanted to make the weather look ominous with the storm clouds.

Above all else, be an artist! And remember the eye is always drawn to the area of highest contrast in your image.

Drone Tip: shoot photos with the rule of thirds in mind. Place your subject on the vertical AND horizontal thirds to double the rule and keep people engaged that much more!

Time to chase some shadows! Go out in the morning or in the afternoon and shoot top down views of shadows. This adds so much depth to an image.
