If you hadn't noticed, these last few months have difficult for me creatively. I work from home and have the tendency to work very long hours. I work on a multi-display laptop system, and my business and personal workspaces are essentially one in the same, so the last thing I want to do after working 12 hours at my desk is to stay at my desk for another 5 hours processing.
I have nearly 1TB of data I still need to sift through and process, plus another 300GB I am retreiving tomorrow that I'll also need to sort through. And lately, I just either don't have the motivation or I'll begin a work flow and then abandon it due to me forgetting where I'm at in the process when I take a break for a day.
Tonight I stuck through my most recent attempt and it was so worth it, it did take me a total of about 8 hours across 10 days to complete the entire post processing sequence due to learning a new technique and work getting in the way repeatedly.
M51 - The Whirpool Galaxy. Taken remotely from Death Valley Observatories with a total of 83.5 hours of data stacked and processed in Pixinsight.
Data acquired with my Askar FRA600 Refractor Telescope, ZWO ASI2600MC Duo OSC Camera, ZWO AM5 Mount, ZWO ASIAIR Plus & ZWO EAF, with a Raspberry PI and Talescale.
