❤️🏀 MEET BREW: YOUR NEWEST FOUR-LEGGED ACES FAN! 🏀

Okay, friends… look at this handsome boy! 😍

Meet Brew, a nearly 6-year-old Pit Bull with soulful eyes, a goofy personality, and a serious love of water. I had the pleasure of photographing him recently, and he was an absolute sweetheart. He happily posed, accepted treats, played with toys, and proudly rocked my Aces jersey.

Brew loves long walks, fetch, cuddles, and swimming. Give him a pool and a garden hose and he's in heaven! 😂💦 He's also an amazing walking buddy and loves being with his person.

Brew has been through some big changes this year, including losing his beloved dad. He's now looking for a new forever home.

One important thing: after some difficult experiences with another dog, Brew has become frightened and nervous around other dogs. He can walk alongside them, but he needs to be the one and only dog at home. And honestly, I think he'd be pretty happy being someone's spoiled only child.

Meet my favorite boy, Pebbles. 🖤 He is available for adoption THIS WEEKEND!

FUN FACTS ABOUT PEBBLES...
He looks like he could bench-press you.

He would actually prefer to climb into your lap. 😂

Pebbles is a big, goofy, ridiculously lovable boy who has a serious talent for making people smile. He has the enthusiasm of a puppy, the confidence of a professional wrestler, and absolutely no idea that he is, in fact, a 60+ pound dog.

He loves people. He loves attention. He loves belly rubs. He loves being told what a handsome boy he is. And he gives some of the best full-body hugs around.

I've had the privilege of photographing Pebbles many times, and every time I see him, I'm reminded that some dogs just deserve their person.

Pebbles has been waiting.

A long time.

He's ready for a family who will appreciate his big personality, his goofy heart, and his slightly questionable understanding of personal space. 😆

I would really, really love to see this boy finally get his happy ending.

Some stories are too important to stay untold.

When I started CHOSEN, I thought I was creating a book about rescue dogs.

Somewhere along the way, it became something more.

It's about the people who refuse to look away.
The volunteers who show up.
The fosters who open their homes.
The rescue organizations that step in when the unimaginable happens.

This page is part of the story of The Mesquite 114, one of the largest rescue efforts I've had the privilege to witness firsthand.

I still remember meeting these dogs. Despite everything they had endured, they leaned into gentle hands, accepted love, and reminded all of us what resilience looks like.

I'm so excited to finally share a few page examples from the book as it comes together.

🐾 CHOSEN is a fundraising project benefiting A Path 4 Paws, celebrating the dogs, the people who save them, and the extraordinary bond they share.

And I'm still looking for more rescue stories to include.

Every rescue dog has a story.

Some stories begin with heartbreak. Others begin with hope. But every one of them deserves to be remembered.

I'm making wonderful progress on CHOSEN, my rescue dog photography and storytelling book, and every time I sit down to work on it I'm reminded why I started this project. This book isn't just about the dogs. It's about the people who changed their lives.

The volunteers who showed up.
The fosters who opened their homes.
The rescue parents who said, "You're safe now."

❤️ Like Rebel and his amazing mom Tiffany, whose love is written all over this photograph.

I'm still looking for a few more incredible rescue stories to potentially be featured. Your dog doesn't have to be famous or have survived unimaginable odds - although that's great too. Sometimes the most meaningful stories are simply about finding the family they were always meant to have.

Best of all, CHOSEN is also a fundraiser benefiting A Path 4 Paws, helping even more dogs find their own happy endings.

I love taking photos of rescue dogs. It warms my heart to help them get adopted 🥰 This session was especially happy for me as I got to spend the day with my beautiful nieces. They were great helpers, and the dogs couldn't get enough of all the belly rubs and treats!

SOMETIMES, THE MOST ORDINARY-LOOKING DOGS HAVE THE MOST EXTRAORDINARY STORIES. ❤️

I know I’ve been a bit quiet on here lately, but I've been working behind the scenes on a project close to my heart. My rescue dog book is officially taking shape, and every single dog I photograph reminds me how powerful these stories are.

Now, I need your help to finish it. I'm looking for a few more rescue dogs to professionally photograph and feature!

I’m looking for unique, meaningful stories. Pups who:
✨ Waited a long time to be noticed
✨ Overcame a difficult past or medical hurdle
✨ Completely changed your life when you least expected it
