Feeling incredibly grateful stepping into 31… yes 31, sounds crazy right?!

Thank you for all the birthday love, messages, calls, and well wishes. Every year brings a little more perspective, and lately I’ve been reminded how much of what makes life meaningful comes down to the people we surround ourselves with, good health, genuine happiness, and building a life that ignites our insides and truly feels like our own.

I’m so thankful for the continued love support that lets me do what I love every day. 31 feels like the start of a really exciting chapter: personally, creatively, and professionally!

Some people don’t just enter a room, they set the energy. JJ Snyder is one of those people!

For years, Las Vegas has known JJ as the personality on the other side of the interview. Bringing warmth, curiosity and an unmistakable energy to television, events and conversations throughout the city.

This time, the focus was on her.

What I loved most about creating these portraits wasn’t simply capturing how JJ beautiful looks. It was capturing what you feel when you meet her: magnetic, uplifting, confident and completely present.

That’s the kind of energy a portrait should hold.

Because the strongest images don’t create a persona… they reveal one!

Fun Facts about Me:

1. Since the beginning, I’ve setup and practiced lighting by taking self portraits just like these. It all started in my parent’s living room while I was in high school.

2. I love cars… and have since I can remember. My current car (pictured) has an orange lathered interior which really pushed my comfort zone! I typically gravitate towards neutrals.
