I’m behind on my Facebook posts but these have been shared on my Instagram. Just pretty things I’ve found in the last 2 weeks. I’m trying to squeeze in a few more shoots before my hip revision in December sidelines me for a couple months. But hopefully with the new hip I’ll be back out hiking and exploring the beautiful states of Arizona and Utah. Can’t wait to be back on my feet!

Watched the golden hour slip into blue hour as the full moon rose from behind the mountains. The line between pink and blue moved quickly westward. The clouds hid the show for a time but then the moonlight overcame them. I had a beautiful evening on the one and only November 5, 2025.

I have been waiting for days for the sky to do something- anything but be just blue. I had written it off for today, and then 30 minutes before sunset I noticed some wispy clouds out the window. If you are a sunset chaser you know those are gonna pop when the sun goes down. Usually that’s about the time you’d be walking out of Walmart, because every landscape photographer knows parking lots are where sunsets are the most brilliant. I grabbed my camera bag so fast and in 15 minutes had my feet in the sand at Red Rock. Just in the nick of time, because it only lasted 15 minutes once the sky turned pink. And of course it was only 5 pm 😭.

Here are my other pictures from last night in Rhyolite Ghost Town. Its was a gold mining town from 1905 until the electricity was cut off in 1914 I wish I took pictures of more subjects but honestly once the sun goes down I’m ready to split.
