Ladies and gentlemen, first and foremost, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Yet, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing to stand out rather than simply trying to fit in. This is just a temporary setback, one of many we’ve faced before, and likely not the last. The stronger we become, the more surreal the challenges we encounter.

I’ve been tested in ways that pushed me to my limits, and each test serves as a reminder of one undeniable truth: Half Animal® is more than a brand—it’s a global symbol of resilience and values that resonate worldwide. I cannot express enough how deeply I appreciate your unwavering support, especially over the last 19 years since Half Animal® was filed with the USPTO.

This is just another attempt to slow us down, but rest assured, it won’t work. We will not stop, we will not quit, and we will never stand down!

Pamela, today is your special day! Happy birthday to one of my best friends and one of the most talented and strong women I know. I remember when we first met at the Zumanity show. You came backstage, and I heard your distinct voice calling my name. I was confused because I didn’t have any friends back then, just . When I turned around, you looked me straight in the eyes as if you knew me. Despite the paparazzi and chaos, you found me. We promised to be loyal and take care of each other. I promised to protect you, but I feel like you’ve protected me even more. Promise still kept.

You sponsored my first World Record and encouraged me to read all my poems to you, something I’d never done for anyone else. You got me into activism for PETA my thing was Ronald McDonald House Charities. Most importantly, you taught me to find common ground with people who had similar goals common futures to look forward to and to avoid common aspects of the past which are very common today. Even during the worst times, you’ve been there for me. You were the first to believe in Half Animal® after me, and now we’re heading to the Paris 2024 Olympics. I guess we did pretty good, didn’t we?

What I’m trying to say is happy birthday. I feel like I got the best gift of all: you, your friendship. Thank you for being such a wonderful human being and believing in me, even when I was in a wheelchair. You never quit on me and because of that alone, you know, once you have me, you got me and I will climb a mountain. If I have to to get to you I will never quit especially on you. I’m so proud of you. Listen You’ve seen it all come together, fall apart, and come back together. What a crazy journey, monkey but we’re still here! I love you, lil bird. It’s Friday night, and while most people are out enjoying drinks and laughter, there’s nothing wrong with that. However, people like myself and my friend Ruben don’t take days off. Right now, Half Animal® is supporting Ruben and his future endeavors, regardless of the outcome. When someone shows you respect and loyalty, you hold onto that.

I’ve been working nonstop for the past couple of weeks, dealing with just about everything. But nothing can get in the way of your destiny. Mark my words—this is only going to get crazier. This is just the beginning, especially for me, because the bases are loaded. One thing is for sure: if you are not a decent human being with a moral compass and values, you won’t be asked to take on the responsibility for others’ safety or participate in once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.

And for those who say I don’t care, remember, I was paralyzed from the neck down. I could’ve thrown my whole life away and had every excuse to demoralize myself over a moment or cheat myself over a night. Lying to people, thinking you have everyone fooled, only puts you in the wrong place at the wrong time. Everyone is looking for an escape.

I hope everyone gets the opportunity to have people in their life who truly care for them, mentor them, and say, “Hey, that’s enough. Time to get back to work.” With that said, have a good night. I’ve got the whole weekend to work through, and then my favorite day of the week—Monday! I can’t wait to dream again and, most importantly, support a good friend who needed that little extra push. Now, he’s on the Olympic team! Always in support Half Animal®
