The desert doesn’t need much help selling romance. A tuxedo, a wedding dress, a couple who forgot anyone was watching, mountains that were doing their job long before we showed up with a camera.

You don’t have to explain a connection like that.

Grandma made the drive. The newest baby made his first appearance in the family pictures.

Nine people stood in the same frame, which is already a small logistical victory, and for a second everybody was looking at the camera.

The picture matters because the whole group is there. It also matters because this exact group will never be this exact age again.
