Summer of Ska Tour VIII 2026 - things we saw, places we went, people we met, and gear we used

It is with overwhelming sadness and everlasting gratitude that we bring the 2026 Summer of Ska Tour to an end. Spending 5 days, 1500 miles, 5 cities, & 5 shows with a crew of bands, friends, lovers, artists, crew members, and some; will teach you more than you know.

Thank you for the rest of my life to tommy and lexi of Good Girlfriend Records , what you have given me can never be repaid, but i will spend my life trying. Thank you to every band mate, bestfriend, lover, crew member, merch crew, stranger, and friend along the way. Without you there is no me.

Taíno tí atabey 🫀 this week has been the closest to home and to my father i have been. The closest to community i have seen. Thank you forever , and as always with love.

I love to look good too, yes even for no one but Mother Earth. 🌍 But with this new found outdoors & hiking movement I have definitely heard a few rumors flying around. While looking and feeling great are definitely apart of the process, so is moving through these hobbies ethically and conservational.

You absolutely do NOT need to buy a new outfit or new gear to get outside! Matter of fact there are so many materials already produced that are going to waste! I would say 90% of my gear is thrifted, bought used, or from accountable brands who work to reduce, reuse, and recycle. ♻️

So here is my post de influencing you to get out there now with knowledge and what you do have, and when buying new gear, outfits, and equipment; please think to go used or as ethical as possible. The outdoor community has amazing spaces like used gear trade events, used gear at most climbing centers, outdoor centers, and huge online presence to find all kinds of things! 🏄‍♀️

Of course safety is the most important thing, so my first word of advice to you is get educated. Knowledge is power first and foremost, and with knowledge comes the ability to move with power 🫀 anyways happy hiking. 🪻🪾
