Hi guys! I’ve been slacking on the posting front because your girl has a LOT going on! Mostly good things though 😊 I’m coming here to say I’ve not disappeared and to let you all know there are no more summer sessions available, we are now moving into fall which, I believe I have maybe one day left available in October before we move into winter/holiday sessions (also limited).

This week we’re showing some love to The Crispy Biscuit! 🍳🍦

I’ve eaten here myself and have always enjoyed it, but my boyfriend? He is a BIG Crispy Biscuit fan 😂 Good food, generous portions, a super fun retro diner atmosphere AND ice cream?! They’re checking a lot of boxes over there. 👏🏼

There’s just something about a good local diner that hits different and The Crispy Biscuit is one of those places that makes grabbing a bite feel like more than just grabbing something to eat. The whole place has so much personality, right down to their “Mind your own biscuits and life will be gravy” sign 😂

Guys!!! I’m SO happy to get on here and say THANK YOU! Thank you so much! 🤍

We have officially reached 300 followers (supporters 🫶🏼) over the weekend and I can’t express my gratitude enough! You don’t have to personally book a shoot to show your support and all 302 of you prove that! A little goes a long way for small businesses, including following their page, liking and sharing their posts, commenting under their photos, recommending them to a friend. We don’t get where we’re going without the support you give, no matter how it is you give it, so thank you.

As if that wasn’t enough to make me emotional, shoutout to my clients who have booked with me thus far. I am officially (almost) completely booked out for the remainder of the year and I am SCREAMING internally!!! I didn’t know what to expect when I jumped into this but to the amount of people who have trusted me so early on in my career and given me the chance to capture precious moments in your life, I could just hug you all so tight 😂 I’m having such a blast creating with you and you all have inspired so many things I want for my own future in this industry. Thank you SO much, the fact that you choose to spend your hard earned money on my work is something I do not take lightly.

I’ve been thinking about how I could use my photography to help with a few fundraisers that are especially important to me right now and I came up with an idea.

I’m looking to book 3 sessions for 3 separate causes, with the profits from each session being donated to the person that session represents.

These are listed in no significant order other than the order in which these circumstances occurred. Each one is equally important to me and equally deserving of support. 🤍

📸 Session #1 — Mylee Crouse
Mylee was recently diagnosed with Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP) and colorectal cancer. Her sisters are currently organizing a Bingo Fundraiser to help support her through everything ahead which is where the proceeds from this particular session will be donated. (Still looking for small business donations for the fundraiser if anyone is interested in contributing)

📸 Session #2 — Amy Fischer
Amy was recently diagnosed with Stage 1 triple-negative breast cancer and has an extensive treatment plan ahead of her. This session will go toward helping support her throughout treatment and the time she’ll have to spend away from work.

📸 Session #3 — Jamie Saiz
Jamie was recently involved in a serious vehicle accident that resulted in him being flown to a Pittsburgh trauma unit. He has a long recovery ahead of him and will be unable to work during that time.

My goal is simple: book 3 sessions and donate the profits from each one.

There’s no specific type of session you have to book for this! If you’ve been wanting photos done, couples, family, portraits, or something else entirely, come to me with the session you have in mind and we can go from there.

You get the photos you were already wanting and together we’re able to turn that session into a little extra support for someone who could really use it right now. 🫶🏼

I’m only looking to fill three spots, so if you’d like one of your sessions to be one of them, just reach out to me.

& if you aren’t looking for photos right now, a share is just as appreciated and may help this reach someone who is. There’s absolutely no pressure to book, I’d simply love to see all three of these spots filled.

For anyone who would prefer to donate directly, the links to each of their fundraisers have all been shared on my personal page and will also be posted here on my photography page at a later time.

💙 Calling On My friends In The Small Business Community 💙

First, I just want to say how much I appreciate everyone who has supported me and Loose Canon Photography thus far. Whether you’ve booked a session, shared a post, recommended my work, or supported me in any other way, none of it goes unnoticed.

Today, I’m asking this same amazing community to help me show some love and support for my cousin, Mylee.

Mylee has been diagnosed with Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP) and colorectal cancer, and her sisters are putting together a Bingo Fundraiser to support her during this time.

They’re currently gathering donations for the fundraiser, and I wanted to use my platform to help spread the word to the many local small businesses and wonderful people I’ve connected with.

If you own a business and are in a position to contribute, they’re accepting gift certificates, products, services, raffle prizes, or other items that could be used for the fundraiser. Financial contributions are also being accepted to help with bingo games, prizes, supplies, and other fundraiser expenses.

Please don’t feel any pressure to donate in order to help. Even simply sharing this post or their post is a huge help and is just as appreciated. Every share gets the word in front of more people, local businesses, and community members who may be able to contribute or share it even further.

Donations are being collected by October 3rd.

I feel that way about ALL of my sessions, no matter what kind. As my first officially booked wedding, I’m so appreciative to hear that my bride felt this way from the pre-booking process alone. It means so much knowing she already feels heard and confident in choosing me to capture such a special day. 💍

Okay BBQ lovers, this week we’re giving some love to Plum Crazy BBQ & Catering!

You’ll be able to find Plum Crazy BBQ at Great Cove Golf Course in McConnellsburg. They’ve built quite the local following for their BBQ, comfort food, weekly specials and MORE! 👀 Reviews repeatedly mention favorites like brisket, pulled pork, smoked chicken and mac & cheese, while plenty of people say not to leave without something sweet.

They also offer catering, so this is one to keep in the back of your mind for weddings, parties and other events. 🙌🏼

There are so many talented people creating good food right in this little corner of PA and they deserve to be talked about!

So this Saturday, skip the chain restaurant and go Plum Crazy instead 😉
