My name is Joy Wheat and I am the owner of Life Captured by Joy, a photography business based out of Petal, MS and serve the surrounding areas. I am a full time photographer, and also a full time wife and mama. � I have a love for anything artsy and creative and that is what started my interest in photography at a young age of 14, living in sunny Florida. I later married my amazing husband Mark Wh

eat and moved to the heart of the south. I specialize in wedding and portrait photography and am always up for a new photo adventure! I understand that being in front of a camera can be very nerve-racking, so I aim to make my clients feel as comfortable as possible during our photo sessions. Mr. and Mrs. Skelton just sounds so good. 💕 What a perfect day. Nate and Eriel brought me all the way from Mississippi to Virginia to photograph their wedding and I am so incredibly glad they did. Eriel is not only a wonderful client and stunning bride, but also a part of my big beautiful family. It was truly so special to be a part of their celebration!
