My first mastermind was unreal.

I could probably write a book on what I learned, but I’ll try to summarize in 3 key points:

1. Surround yourself with people you aspire to be like, & let them challenge you.
2. Invest in yourself. Not once or every once in a while but daily.
3. If you want quality, you’ve got to EARN IT through quantity.

More than anything, this mastermind was a swift kick in the butt. It made me hungry in a new way. I’m grateful for how far I’ve come, but I’m now aware that I’ve only scratched the surface of what’s possible.

And I’m so thankful to have connected with my mentor years ago. He and his team have taught me so much! Looking forward to continually bettering myself & my business to best serve my clients.

2016 Clark lived his best life.

I took a leap into photography in 2016, and I wish I could go back and thank my younger self for doing it. Unironically, some of these photos I took a decade ago are my all-time favorites because I was so focused on feeding my soul.

I didn’t care if it made me a dime. Taking photos is all I wanted to do!

I’m no musician, but the feeling I had capturing some of these shots must be akin to what a guitarist feels when they are riffing and everything just clicks. I never had a plan with photography either. I just finally paid attention to something deep within me that had been trying to speak up for a long time.

So… if you’re sitting on the edge of something you keep feeling your soul begging you to do… please do yourself (and the world) a favor and TAKE THE STEP. I don’t care if you’re scared. Just start! 🫡

You might not realize it now, but the version of you you’re becoming is going to look back one day and say, “Thank you for beginning.”

Adam the Woo is the reason I ever picked up a camera in the first place. There was something so simple about the way he captured everyday moments and turned them into great stories. In a world flooded with fake, AI-generated sludge, Adam was truly authentic. He was always himself and remained curious, kind, and fully present.

Happy 5th year anniversary to my beautiful wife, Kaytlin.
