Chiquita Pistol, a 1999 sorrel mare by Smart Little Pistol and out of Miss Chiquita Tari and owned by Tooter Dorman, won the 2002 NCHA Open Futurity and went on to win the NCHA Super Stakes Open Derby and the NCHA Summer Spectacular Open Derby to secure the Triple Crown of cutting. Chiquita Pistol won just over $545,000 during her show career and in the video mark an amazing score of 231 to win the Open Derby Championship at Abilene.
