From the archives - pulling out my favorite images from last year’s minis in Haddon Heights. The golden trees were stunning and my clients shined even more!!

Only a handful of spots left for this year’s Studio Minis. Link in bio! Grab yours before it’s gone.

2026 Holiday Mini Session Booking Link in bio! This year we’re in a studio so we don’t have brave the freezing rain and temperatures.

Flashback: Last year I almost had to cancel my biggest mini day of the year because the weather was not working in my favor. It was freezing rain and gray all day. I pivoted our location so there was a covered porch for my clients and I popped up a canopy to shield myself and gear from the rain.

The final images were out of this world despite our numb fingers and chattering teeth.

Only a few sessions remain for this years sessions at Studio Five West in Berlin, NJ. Book soon! https://helenmerzphotography.pixieset.com/booking/studio-5-west-holiday-minis

A bit quieter on this account as I’ve spent the last year training for this past weekend’s trip to Smith Rock, OR. It was the trip of a lifetime and I’m already planning more hours in the gym and on the crag for the future.

This fall and winter I’m focusing on traveling, climbing, and physical fitness. Unfortunately, that means it’s the first time that I won’t have time host fall/winter minis for you all. Wishing everyone fun spooky season, beautiful weather to give thanks, and a joyous holiday season. ✌️ 💗 🎃 🍂 🌲 🤶

Finally processed my images from She Moves Mountains Smith Rock, OR 10/1-4 retreat. Climbing outside is so different and I love it. Definitely adding more outdoor climbing experiences to my itinerary next year. We had an incredible group of women during this trip, too.

Crater Lake photos incoming!

Crater Lake was beautiful 🤩 very hazy day but post processing helps minimize that ✨

I had the pleasure and delight of capturing in studio newborn portraits with and their precious bundle of joy, Emersyn. Emersyn was awake the entire time but that didn’t stop us from capturing beautiful moments with this new family.

We even got a holiday bonus! The holiday decor was still up for us to capture them in their Christmas pjs.
