✨ BUBBLES. ✨
It’s probably no surprise that I’ve always had a soft spot for a bubble exit. {If you knew me in high school, I hope that made you giggle.} They’re whimsical, joyful, a little bit magical… and somehow they always bring out the biggest smiles.
I love that this wasn’t a perfectly posed, serious ending to the day. It was laughter, stolen kisses, squinty-eyed grins, and a whole lot of bubbles floating through the evening air.
I’d say that’s a pretty perfect way to begin forever. 💙🫧

Last week’s birth:

He was trying SO hard to open his eyes under those bright warming lights.

I just kept telling him, “I know it’s bright, baby… I’m so so sowwy.” 🥹

The nurse heard me and came over to switch the light off.

He blinked…
Looked around…
Locked eyes with me…
And gave the sweetest almost-smile.

It was one of those tiny moments that probably lasted three seconds…
…and I’ll never forget it 🩵
