One month since Alexis & Tyler got married!š
This day was beyond special not just for the obvious reason that two became one and the beauty of their love but for another reason that none of us realized that day.
There was a point during their family photos where I began to get teary eyed, I even had to apologize because I was overwhelmed with emotion. I looked around at all of their family and I could see how deep the love ran. As Alexisā grandma and grandpa made their way forward for their portraits something about them reminded me of my grandparents that passed away before my wedding. There was something about them that you could tell they were the glue of the family. They were the reason there was such an abundance of love. I can recall thinking to myself just how special this was.
A few days after the wedding I got the email notifying me that her grandpa had sadly passed away, and that I had documented some of the last memories of their family together. It was then I realized just how special this day was and these moments I documented for this family. Itās a gift to be trusted with memories. Iām filled with honor that I got to capture this day for Alexis & Tyler. I may be biased but they were surrounded by so much joy that it overflows out of the photos, itās almost palpable. I have smiled and cried (and done both at the same time) looking back at these and Iām sure my emotions canāt be compared to what they feel as they cherish these memories. ā¤ļø
