Week one of band camp is done. Week 2 is next week with 5 long 10-12 hour days.
We all know how hot it has been outside. These kids will be working very hard inside the band room as well as out on the field in this heat learning not one, but TWO marching shows this year. 🎶
Marching band is very physical, mental, and exhausting.
The band parents are asking for any and all help to make sure these kids are hydrated and fed well to give them as much support and fuel as possible this coming week.
The extra help allows more of the band funds to be utilized towards new uniforms and equipment for the upcoming marching season as well as their competitions.
We are also looking for anyone willing to donate meals or towards meals for their lunches and dinners each day. But here is an amazon wish list to help with all the in between snacks and drinks.
Thank you so very much for your help and support. This program means the World to us and these kids. For some, this program is all they’ve got.
